Service Canada may Refuse to Process Certain LMIA Applications in Alberta

Employment and Social Development Canada has announced a list of twenty-nine high wage occupations that have been added to a list of occupations that Service Canada may refuse to process. The occupations, which center around the construction industry, have been selected on the basis of a determination that there is ample labour supply in the province and in Canada, in general.
